Welcome New CAIR-AZ Executive Director

CAIR-AZ is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Ahmad Daniels to serve as CAIR-AZ Executive Director.

Mr. Daniels is the recipient of numerous awards. Some of which include the "SPIRIT OF LOUISVILLE" AWARD, presented by the city of Louisville, Kentucky in appreciation for dedicated community service. Mr. Daniel has also served as a facilitator for two of former Governor James B. Hunt's North Carolina Initiative on Race Conferences.

He was recognized by Community Pride Magazine (December 2000), Charlotte's African American magazine, as one of Charlotte's 50 Most Influential Black Men. Mr. Daniels is most proud of being recognized by the editorial staff of The Charlotte Observer as a "Hero of Democracy" (July 4, 2001); and for having played an active role in the United Nations World Conference on Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia, and Related Intolerance, held late August - early September 2001, in Durban, South Africa.

Mr. Daniels received a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina Central University, Durham, North Carolina, and a Master of Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
